Functional Outcome of Distal Third Tibia Fractures Treated with Minimally Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis

Background: As the highest number of complications are associated with distal tibia fracture it is one most challenging condition to treat. Minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis techniques more feasible. disappointing results were obtained from traditional therefore this method was gradually evolved. Study design: It a prospective study conducted in Pakistan Railway General Hospital, Rawalpindi for duration year January 2022 December 2022. Material and Methods: The comprised 49 patients who fulfilled inclusion criteria. Among there 23 males 26 female patients. that not fulfilling criteria excluded study. Results: 40% had problem right leg 60% their left side. There 24 reported about fibula plating remaining 52% no experienced. mean time surgery 7 days ranging 3 8 days. Based on classification fracture, 72% included 43A category 43B 28% Conclusion: For fractures, minimally has better radiological functional outcomes quite than other treatment methods. can cure these fractures fewer short union time.
